[GreenKeys] Hal DS2050 KSR

Hi everyone,
  I picked up a Hal DS2050 KSR at a local hamfest recently that needs some TLC. 
Is anyone familiar with this unit?  I'm going to get a copy of the manual from
Hal, but I'd like to know how difficult it will be to get it running again.
  When I turn the unit on, it beeps a lot and the video display shows jibberish.
 I'm guessing it's a logic problem, but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on
where to start?  It runs on a Z80 CPU.
