This guy has some good points, as I also enjoy the "old time" QSO's.

Sort of like smoking cigarettes in a crowded room.... Everyone enjoys rights 
of "quite enjoyment" but were I to occupy all the bandwidth in the 40 or 80 
meter bands with contest, non rag chewers, and make it so the rag chewers could 
not chew anymore, then I feel I have a legitimate beef.

there should be certain sections of the band set aside for contests on 
certain days.  Nothing more of a let down, than to scrounge up an hours free time to 
send out a "CQ" and have someone tell you there is a contest on, could you 
QSY into never never land.
