Hey Guys;
Although I got the Dovetron M1000, what - about 2 years
ago during the "big buy", I haven't made use of it.
I actually am thinking about hooking it up, and I opened
the manual and found that it makes reference to a "scope"
connector so that you can connect an oscilloscope and
look at the signals.
I think that you really have to have a scope if you are
going to transmit since in receive you can vary the Mark
and Space filters, so you have no way of knowing whether
you are on someone's frequency or not.
Well, these are the connectors on the back of my unit:
Group One:
PTT / SIGNAL LOSS / POLAR INPUT / LOCK
Group Two:
AFSK / MIL / EIA
Group Three:
AUDIO INPUT
Did I miss something, or do I have a "Dovetron Lite"?
The manual says M1000CR/T, but the label on the back
of my unit just says M1000.
73,
W6ESE - tony
