Roberta,

The gears you need depend on which motor you have, one of the
series governed AC/DC units or the AC only synchronous type.

By base do you mean the keyboard and contacts assembly that 
slides in beneath the printer unit, held by thumb screws on either
side of keys?  (NOT the three large thumb screws that secure the
printer body) 

Tape holder on base??  Or is it on outer case ?

OK on tape.

Sorry, no covers for 15s, had to toss all but selected few for certain
14 machines.

Do you need the same 'base"?  I think I have a 15 loop supply
but you might be wise to change out the copper oxide rectifiers
for modern silicon (1N4007s give extra safety margin for a dime)
