Reading this, to me it appears that you are speaking of a religion,
not a hobby.  Ultimately, whether we are in this hobby or not is
irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.  Hobbies are not supposed to
elicit commitment or devotion, they exist only as something to have
fun with.  An amusement, a pass time.
