Re: Morse....wasn't it the precursor of RTTY?  I regret the lost talent our 
hobby would have amongest us but for the code test.  I know many talented 
nerds who just won't jump thru the "hoop" as they see no value in it.

The hobby is poorer for the loss of that talent.  They could always go to 
Morse later if they were inclined...but now, we'll never see them 
"here"....and, we need them.
