Byron,
I have seen carboned rolls in government surplus sales with up to three
copies, each one on a different color of paper. With four layers of
paper and three carbons, I don't know how long a typebox would last.
Wish I had room for a couple of units. Back in the 70's, I would buy
pallets of surplus equipment, fix it up and sell it at swap meets. In
Hawaii at that time, a working KSR set was worth about $100. Most were
M19 or Kleinschmidt, but occasionally a M28 would show up. I also
serviced a few M33 sets for a radio station. They used them to program
and log their automated tape machines.
