[GreenKeys] Parts??

GE, Don es fellow Greenkeyers....

As many of you know, I happen to be the proud owner of a M28ASR. This
being said, however, I am trying to restore it to
the "fully loaded" condition that I know and love so well.........
OK.... so what do I need....

1. I currently have a non typing perforator. I would like to replace
this with a typing perforator. I would be willing to
trade the non typing one along with a fee to obtain at least one typing
perf . I rather enjoy seeing the characters that I type

2. I know the chance of this is small to none, but if ANYONE Has a 3
speed shift for this animal, please let me know. It
is currently set up for 60, but I would like to be able to have the
ability to change speed, even for no other reason than I
am use to having one

3. I would like to equip this with an underdome reperf. I have plenty
of reperfs, and gearshift assys, but none of the ancillary
stuff, save for the interconnecting cable (thanks, Russ) , the tape
supply reel (but not the bracket to hold same) and a couple
of pieces of hardware.... I do not have the base, nor the motor, nor any
of the gearing or shafting for same. OK, I will not
force all of you to look for all of the parts, I have a complete manual
set, and can darn well look up the P?N's myself.

4. I would like to have a complete spare printer.... I have plenty of
type boxes, stunt box keys, complete stunt boxes, and a bunch
of stuff I don't even have catalogued, but I don't have a spare printer.

5. I have misplaced the red plastic lens for the EOL lamp... I do
believe that it's around somewhere, maybe inside the base of the
cabinet, but if someone has a spare EOL lens, lemme know as well.........

But wait, that's not all!!!!! I have boucoup parts that I have to sort
out and catalog, for at one time, they were going to
be used to restore the commo spaces in the USS America, but sadly, we
(we being the museum foundation) were unable to
secure her as a museum ship, and she now lies at the bottom of the
Atlantic.. I will try and go thru said parts, catalog what I have
and make them available for the group, those which are excess to my
needs ( I also have a standalone M28 typing Perf/Reperf,
and an M14 typing reperf, which is in desperate need of a set of
selector magnets, as well as a line relay (not the 255, the oblong
one, sri, group, my dinged head forgot the nomenclature at this time
--hi--)......I have a bunch of parts which were used as packing
from the "Great White North" from the great Jan Skirrow, when he shipped
me the second of my AN/URA-17's and I have to
catalogue them as well......I hope to be able to be in some sort of
shape to supply parts surplus to my needs in a month or so
as I have a bunch of irons in the fire.....setting up a broadband B&W
folded dipole, restoring a 1884 Trapdoor Springfield in
.45-70 (I want to shoot a fine looking rifle in the antique matches
coming up), finishing the M14ROTR (BTW, I need an outer
case for that animal, if someone happens to have one held
hostage.......mounting my Stelma TDA2 distortion analyzer, finishing
my TTY-Connect unit and getting it in full operating splendor, and
obtaining a proper boatanchor xmtr with pure fsk capability
to go with my R390A's. my R392's. my BRR-3 and the URA17's as well as
repairing my URA-8 which has no vertical sweep.
I also have to hook up my Dovetron, get it properly in a rack, with a
decent fan, and a proper antenna patch panel and splitter,
and get the audio and DC panels permanetly installed........

OK enough whining.......one last request, if anyone has a full set of
plugs for a pair of URA-17's a URA-8, I would appreciate
knowing about them... would also like to know if someone has a second -8
as well as the comparator unit FS/T because it
would really showcase the difference in technology... Also, if anyone
has any gud ideas for a complimentary BA 'mitter\to
complement my recvr suite, lemme know...........

Mainly, tho, I want to get the M-28 full up and running and churning out
copy and tape, the M14 on line, and the Mite
doing the best it can at 60 (the only gearset I have).......... I dson't
trust that animal faster than that, even tho I went thru the
darn school.... I never used it faster on a P3. Oh yeah... if anyone
has a front panel, let me know, mine is dinged, right over the local LF,
CR, and paper feed buttons, and while I can do the body work, if a
working panel is available, it saves a lot of drilling out rivets,
knocking out dings, and then trying to find the authentic rivets, etc,
as well as matching paint to get the whole shebang in like new condx
again......

OK guys, have at me, any suggestions are appreciated.. Trading,
wheeling and dealing are always possible!!!!
