You can do it with no new gears.

Just get a nice Dovetron with the speed converter.  Feed it 60 WPM, get 100 
WPM (character speed) out.  Sumthin' to do with a "UART".

My security advisors insist that I neither confirm nor deny that I have a 
M-28KSR with gear speed shift in it.
