Hello John,

I was accused of selling museum donations.  I decided to pull the  
auction and refit the machine back to an RO.  I am an honorable  
person and I consider myself to have a high lever of integrity.  I do  
not want anyone out there thinking I would sell donations to make  
cash for Christmas.
On the contrary I have invested approximately $14,000 in the museum  
which is now the property of San Diego State University.

I am supposed to get a letter of authorization from the university  
for lifetime access to the collection and we are supposed to be able  
to utililize the shop and parts.  However I am still waiting.

BTW,  Quincy, Illinois used to have the Illinois Bell home for  
retired operators.  The company has sure gone down hill since those  
days when the "plant and the people" were the most important assets  
to the company.
