Don,

R-1051(*)/URR was part of a family of sets that included T-827(*)/URT
(actually an exciter, with 100 MW output) and RT-618(*)/URC. Also part of the family
are RF Amplifiers AM-3007(*)/URT, AM-3292(P)/URT and AM-3924(P)/URT, and
Power Supply PP-3916(*)/UR. My database also says PP-3917/UR but I'm not sure
that isn't a typo.

R-1051 was used as a standalone replacement for R-390A/URR (initially for
secure RATT receiving circuits). AN/WRC-1 c/o R-1051, T-827, AM-3007, CU-937 and
accessories. AN/URC-35 c/o RT-618, AM-3007, CU-937 and accessories (I have a
B model of this). AN/URT-23 c/o T-827, AM-3292 or AM-3924, PP-3916 and
accessories.

Output power of AN/WRC-1 and AN/URC-35 was 100 watts. AN/URT-23 was 1000
watts. Operating modes were AM/CW/USB/LSB/ISB/FSK (FSK receive required AN/URA-8
(audio converter only), AN/URA-8A or B, or AN/URA-17).

Nice sets. Outside of AN/URT-23, the other comtemporary HF transmitter for
R-1051 was
AN/WRT-2 (not my favorite transmitter). Outside of the receivers, very few
of the family seem to have shown up in surplus.
