If you pick up older #2500 touch-tone telephones at flea markets and/or garage sales and the keypads are inoperative, don't forget that the pads are polarity-sensitive and you may have to reverse the line cord wires to bias the pad properly. Even if the pad is still inoperative, I have plenty of replacements in stock. See www dot navysalvage dot com for more details on repairs to older telephones.
