6-volt copylights and margin indicator require that the power source be AC; they are run off a transformer. Some Model 28 equipment can run off DC. That's a reason for two 60V bulbs in series for copylights, governed motor, and probably 60V margin indicator. jhhaynes at earthlink dot net
