Russ,

You know I am interested.  Thanks to you I have the S Spec 5948 S  
that covers these shifters.

This 162669 gear is for the two 60,75,100 metal gear shifts.  
Modification Kits TP 162641 and TP 163359 which cover most of the  
Model 28 ROs and KSRs as of 1961.

There are newer nylon gear shifts that provide 60,67,100 wpm that use  
the standard 100 wpm pinion gear.  I have one installed in my 28KSR.

Any buyers need to be sure that this is the gear they need.

I should also quote the S specification:  "...The motor unit must be  
turned off in order to select a different operating speed."
