I discovered today that I have had one of these screwdrivers for a long  time 
but did not know it until today.  The center pin was stuck inside out  of 
sight and I did not realize what it was.  But I came across it in my  tool box 
today and after reading all the posts on the subject I realized  what it was.  
Upon disassembly, I found the pin stuck inside.   Mine is a rather old antique 
with a wood ball on the end rather than the  black plastic on the new ones.
