I built a TT/L-2 when I was 20.  That was almost 40 years ago!   It's a super 
TU and I'm happy to hear that you've saved it.
 
I happen to have my notes from 1967 and it shouldn't take too much to  
confirm that everything is OK.  I wonder if you know how long since the  TT/L-2 has 
been powered up and if it will be necessary to replace any caps in  the power 
supply.
