[GreenKeys] Selector Magnet Wiring Model 28 Machines

Eugene,
The coil magnets are wired in parallel for 55 to 65 milliamps.
If there are two wires feeding the magnets there should be a strap
between the two center screws (one on each magnet coil) and a strap
between the two outer screws. The colors of the leads are normally
ORANGE and YELLOW, which are connected on the same screws as
indicated below...
If there are four wires feeding the magnets they start from the rear
of the machine (or the right of the magnets if looking directly at
the selector mechanism) in the following order:
ORANGE, YELLOW, VIOLET, SLATE.
The above of course is if no one has changed the standard wiring of
the machine.
I can send you a photo if you desire.

Hmmm. good point. I will check it out more tomorrow. The 90 that I
arrived at was just a random number that seemed to give good print
with the lpr on. I will however try to find the real center of the
"good" range to see what the most optimal number really is. If you
are right and if there is still something else wrong, I wonder again,
if it could be that I have some selector magnets out of phase?
