Hi Jim, to use the ST-6 on receive with a computer is easy.

You use the 'FSK' output of the ST-6 to the input RS-232 Computer on the computer.  That is all you need.

To transmit, you need to break the FSK line that go's to the AFSK board and key the AFSK board from the RS-232 transmit pin.  I can't remember which is which, but all you need on the computer RS-232 comport is 2&3 (tx/rx?) and  7 which is ground.

Good Luck, but the soundcard solution would be easier.
