NO Roy,
   The diodes are installed in the right direction (but may be soldered to the drop side of the filiment 
transformer winding instead of the B+ side of the winding). The machine worked fine for about 30 
minutes. just before the fuses blew I had plugged in an RA-87 rectifier a model 14TD and M15 all into the 
same 15 amp circuit.  I am wondering if the voltage drop may have increased the current enough to blow 
the 1/8 amp TT1 fuse and the PP-86E 2 amp fuse....  Gosh darn it anyway.
