[GreenKeys] Parts on Ebay

GE, All...
The xmissions are missing parts, the one in the foreground has a bent
shaft, which, basically, unless you have one already, and are looking
for a "parts unit" renders it pretty much worthless...

Darn it, I've been looking all over for a 3 speed shifter for a 28 ASR
and come up short.. got plenty of reperf shifters, but none for the
mainshaft of an ASR..... got cheated out of the last 2 that I
discovered, the USN wouldn't let me salvage them from the ship we were
trying to save for a museum, and I would surmise, they went down with
her.. 2 full up, M28ASR's, underdome reperfs, a whole bunch of other
goodies, including shifts, Just sitting there in CIC. Why they were
there, and not in any other radio space, was a complete mystery to me.
They, to my complete suprise, were also not badly "demilled".. some
gorilla had hit the keyboards, but only broke a couple of keytops on
each.. I don't think they knew how to get the covers open (they broke
off the buttons to get the tops open, I used a pen to press the pins in)
the only thing I walked away with were the type boxes [evil grin]... (
Gee Whiz, guys, I had to take SOMETHING away when I was aboard the last
time, and not a tool at hand).....

Anyhow, I'm not sure that lot is worth a whole bunch. It looks like good
pickings, but maybe if we could work out a "gentleman's agreement" about
the bidding??
