There are instances where the Medium is most definitely *not* the Message.

Ham Radio is, I think, one of those Instances.

I'm all for High-Tech, cutting-edge, brave-new-world, etc.

I also like the sound of a nicely-adjusted Model 19, the smell of the
machinery, and the glow of filaments.

I like to keep each Technique in it's rightful place.

"Ham Radio over the Internet" is not Ham Radio, IMHO - it's VOIP, matters 
not what the message content is, nor it's destination.
