Sure wish I had seen this one.  Our museum has two.  One is in bad 
shape.  Teletype Corp made 50 of these prototypes for the U.S. Navy. 
They preceeded the M32 and M33.  The model number assigned was 
TT-242.  As George Hutchison points out the defect in the machine is 
the poor design of the plastic gearing.  I have the original manuals 
for these little guys including the 8 x 10 glossy photos that were to 
become the tech manual.
