Bill it's been awhile since I had my 33/101C, I'll see if I have any
docs left on that. But if memory serves me, the fist place to look is
the SMD (selector magnet driver) card, located in the UCC area, it's
usually the "burnt" looking one! They were poorly designed and go
regularly, usually too much heat from the current bypass resistor at the
top of the card. I think both the 33's and 35's used them. And looking
at the only prints I can find, it's pretty much a closed loop in local
mode, between the power supply the selector magnet and the keyboard, via
the trans/dist. The prints I have are from a 3320 with automatic modem,
which is the newer version of the 101c, that through the miracle of
miniaturization now only occupies the UCC area, nothing except the
reader PS in the base!
If you like, I can try to scan the diagrams, that may be of help to you,
but again they are not exact w/respect to your unit???
