I have two compact teletype machines. Don't know anything
about what they are/were/will be. One is military green, the
other is grey. They have keyboards on the front. There is
some type of tape reader on the side next to the keyboard,
and a couple of bat switches on them also. They came in a
CONEX that had a full radio set for teletype comms. I have
no idea what model they are, and it's really unimportant
to me- please, no offers of help identifying. If anyone wants
them, let me know that you're willing to come pick them up
in Myrtle Beach, SC, and you may have them. They need a
lot of cleanup (the keyboards have mold on the keys) but
mechanically, they should be OK. I'm on the lookout for a
28ASR, and am getting away from the small units. These
must be gone by June, or two more Teletype units will be
"lost" to the garbage man.
Thanks, -Web Williams
Kind regards, -Web Williams in Myrtle Beach, SC
