I am running out of room here...

I have a "Model 29ASR" (Model 28ASR in a 35ASR cabinet)
which is available to the first person who comes and gets it.
No, I won't pay you to haul it away!

It has a complete 28ASR perf/keyboard base and typing unit.
The 35 TD is still in it, but I have the replacement 28 version
sitting on a shelf, ready to be dropped in. It will need some
wiring to be done since the TD is actually a stand-alone
unit with its own motor (same as in the standard 35ASR
configuration). The cabinet is in very nice shape and the
machine works fine. It is heavy!!

This conversion was undertaken using info from a CQ
Magazine article written by Gordon Elliot White in
his "Surplus Sidelights" column. It described how to adapt
the 28 keyboard to the 35 cabinet...I stripped an old
35ASR keyboard for the metal brackets needed to
make the 28 keyboard fit. It still has "green keys".

First come, first serve...but wait, there's more!

You get a large supply of TTY paper and tape
for free, too.
