Dr. Bytheway has come up with his latest addition to ITTY.
You can now send a feed to ITTY directly from your home computer. It's
easy..
Find whatever you want to have run and format it such that the line
lengths do not exceed about 70 characters - so's to keep them ugly black
spots from forming on the right hand side of your copy.
Open up an e-mail and paste your item in the body of the message.
Address the e-mail to itty at 207.207.72.32, then send it.
Do not have any CC's, BCC's or multiple addresses.
ITTY will put your message into the top of the transmit queue, and run
it as soon as whatever is in the transmit file is completed.
Bear in mind that if everyone sends something at once, they'll all be
put in the queue as received, with the latest item at the top, and under
these conditions it might take a while for it to bubble to the top.
I have a lot of things going on, and since it takes about an hour and a
half to set up a four to five hour news run. I can't set up a news run
every day.
ITTY has been set up with nothing but RY's in the transmit file. If you
are seeing RYs then chances are your message will get on the circuit
quickly, because when the five lines of RY are completed and the
trailing note done, it goes for the very next item in the file. If your
message/story is it, down the wire it goes.
When your item is started, your name and e-mail address are transmitted,
the subject from the e-mail header is next, then date and time.
It finishes with four N's.
All items transmittted are stored in the logfile for the day.
Try it and enjoy.

George - W7TTY
