[GreenKeys] ASR-33s / ASR-32

Don and others,

thanks for the information. Meanwhile I checked out the USPS surface parcel
rates
to Germany and found out that they will ship up to 70 lbs, which is much
more
than our German postal service does...maximum weight here is 40 lbs.(20
Kilogramm)
After weighing my ASR33 minus stand, my old bathrooms scales showed me much
less than 70 lbs.
I came to the conclusion that I would like to get a complete ASR-32 minus
floor stand,
which still is less than the maximum freight weight of USPS.
An old Western Union Machine (66 WPM Telex) with Telex control unit and dial
in working condition would be asolutely great.

I would like to trade with a Siemens T68d tape printer which prints on 9.5
mm wide
gummed paper tape (Don't know in inches...).
These machines are one of the most compact teleprinters ever built.
Printing mechanism is some kind of type wheel. (to be seen ony my photos)
These are HV single current 40ma machines, but guess
you would need a transformer to get 220 volts for the motor. As these
machines
are fitted with governed motors, speed adjustment either to 60 or 66 WPM is
no problem.
They keyboard is German (QWERTZ) style of course, Y and Z interchanged.

This tape printer would be the only machine to match the weight limitation
of our
postal service. It's weight is less than 20 kg.

Anyone out there who would like to trade? ...
Will send photos of the T68d by mail.

73s,
Henning, DF3OE
