Greenkeyers,
With the help of Tom Tillson, fellow Greenkeyer, the
K2AGI collection now resides in my basement (and garage,
and storeroom and...). My thanks to Tom for renting the truck
and hauling all of that stuff. (There's still more TTY's at the
house: 4 Model 19's and a few 28 RT sets and Model 40
printers).
I'm away from home this week, so I haven't been able to
inventory everything, but here's some highlights:
[WARNING, most of this stuff is not in good condition.
It appears K2AGI provided a home for a lot of mice...]
Model 33ASR's -- I have about a dozen of them, some fair, some
bad...some with stands; cases/covers not pretty.
Model 32ASR, looks complete.
Model 15 on table, looks pretty good. (brown wrinkle paint)
Model 35 ROTR on stand
Model 35 ROTR, no stand
Model 28 tabletop cabinet
Model 14 TD's (three of them)
Model 28 sprocket feed typing unit, looks OK
Model 35 "mini" TD in beige case (cute)
Three BRPE's (heads only)
Model 37 TD assembly (from 37ASR?)
Model 37 ROTR assembly (from 37ASR?)
Model 37 cabinet with keyboard, no typing unit
Model 31 in the "lunchbox" carrying case.
I have TONS of TTY paper and tape (11/16ths and 1-inch)
and lots of manuals (I haven't even looked at them, yet; when I
do, I'll put out a list).
I also have several hundred pix tapes which will be going to
Bob Camp for his "RTTY pix-to-CDROM" project.
If anyone has any interest in the above, let me know. I have to
make a few $$ for the family and cover packing and shipping
costs. That's it...this is not a "for profit" venture. I am doing this
out of respect for one of Ham RTTY's pioneers. However,
I cannot hold onto to this stuff for long. Either it finds a new
home with a Greenkeyer or it goes to the dump. I am
lucky to have a patient wife (so far...).
Here's the deal....pricing is based upon the TTY Model number...a
Model 33 goes for $33, a Model 15 for $15, and so on. Shipping
will be a lot more.
Finally, there was some Ham gear:
Central Electronics 100V
Hammarlund HQ-180 w/clock
Hammarlund HX500 transmitter
Heath HW2036 2 Meter transceiver and power supply
Heath antenna tuner (forget model number...the big one)
Johnson Kilowatt Matchbox (big one)
Homebrew 4-1000 amp with 4 meters, variac filament control,
Groth tuning knobs (2), B&W tank assembly, and vacuum
variable tuning cap...no power supply, but this thing looks
beautiful. Not sure if it was ever used. Mounted in 21-inch
rack panel. Enclosed with a about a million screws.
The Ham gear looks pretty good, but I have no idea if it
works. It seems John had this stuff disconnected for a long time.
I will accept offers on the ham gear, but the offers have to be
realistic...or the stuff goes on Ebay. Again, the family is
looking for $$.
I will respond to all emails, but give me time...I'm on the
road during the week (sitting in a hotel in Boston right now).
73,
Jack WA2HWJ
