I finally dug out some equipment to check out what's on the air... and 
either my receiver is in serious need of work, or there just isn't much 
RTTY on the air anymore (and since I can get WWV & WWVH quite well at 
15mhz with a 3ft whip, I don't think that my receiver has gone deaf).

Now I understand the motive behind ITTY! out of an hour of cruising the 
bands - I managed to (barely) copy some RYs - no idea who/where they 
were from- about the time I was getting them tuned - they quit!  This 
has sure cooled off my thoughts about getting back into TTYs!  Sheesh!

Tomorrow I'll string something of a long wire and see if there is 
anything "out there"... I don't think I'll even bother getting one of 
the heavy beasts out of storage (R390A or R391) unless a long wire puts 
something more of interest on my little receiver.

Any suggestions about something interesting on the air to listen to?  I 
guess the days of UPI AP Reuters, et. al. are gone...   What a shock!
