Oh, yeah.  A friend of mine (now VE3ZQC, then ... CBer) had an HP unit
like that in the 1970s.  Columns of Nixie tubes for the display.  Some
kind of plug-in modules (each 10x the size of an iPod, at least) for
different functions.

We had the best-aligned CBs ever.  :-)
