GE, All.
First, I would like to thank Don House for his help and generosity in
supplying things greenkey for the USS America Museum, Foundation. It
is a sad day indeed to inform all concerned that we have apparently lost
our cause,. and she will be ignominiously sunk as part of a SINKEX
sometime this year, probably in May. Rest assured that the TDA, etc
will reside in my shack, and receive daily use and care. Since I am
now in the process of assembling the TTY-CONNECT, I will be able
to obtain Baudot signals from many more locations than previously
available. Again, many thanks. and a hearty WELL DONE/
Ok,. secondly, I am in need of a few components, first, I need a TYPING
perforator for an M28ASR, and a set of 75 and 1000 WPM gears for a
Mite. I can do without the 75, but the 100 is definitely needed.
In addition, does anyone have a source for the .10 A fuses for the
Mite???? I have looked high and low, and I will be darned if I can find
them for sale, if anyone knows where they are sold, please let me know,
so I can order several..... I would like to order
enough to have several spares for each, even if only the .10 A is
blown//////////
The second thing that I need, if anyone has one laying around is a front
cover for a Mite, mine is dinged right over the 3 local
function buttons, and jams them.... yes, I can straighten the thing out,
and it will probably work, buit just in case, I would like a backup//
If anyone has a front cover from an otherwise unservicable unit, let me
know, and what you want for it, and we can
do the deal.
Standby for a list of parts which I will soon be posting FSTrade, which
are excess to my needs now that we are not going to get the ship.... I
am going to keep enough spares to maintain the units in the shack, but
the rest will be up FS/Trade on the list/ I am not interested in
making any money on them, as I would rather share them amongst the
greenkey group, and would muich rather trade when practicable for M14
reperf and M28/ Mite spares/////////// I especialy would like a WE 255
socket. as I have many relays, but absolutley no sockets//////
