Eugene's idea may not be too far off base.  If  your only capability is to
play your paper tapes through your TD and capture them on MP3 or WAV files,
then DO IT!  Many of us can play back the data via our own TUs and capture
the data using RTTYArt.  I suspect that 8K sample rate might be enough for
45 Baud capture. Most important is to capture the data before it is lost to
the scrap heap.  Any takers?  Send the captured files my way, and I'll take
a hack at converting them to disk files.

Note that the RTTYArt Viewer JAVA application reads ASCII files.
