All you greybeards need to do is unleash all those 33s you had
in the attic and help lower the price by flooding the market.

I found my ASR-33 tossed in a Dumpster, maybe ten years ago.  
A few bits of the plastic cracked.  I wouldn't pay a kilobuck 
for a perfect one, though.

Having read this list for a while, though, I'd be interested
in picking up one of the more robust units, which I'd use to
recreate RTTY art.  Any recommendations?  I'd need a serial 
interface to a computer.  I'm in SE Wisconsin.  I went to the
local ham-vention and didn't see a bit of RTTY gear.

Here's something else that'll happen soon: someone will mention
this RTTY-over-Internet business on a nerd web site like 
Slashdot www.slashdot.org and then you'll have another ten 
thousand wannabee retro-computerists paying top dollar for ASR-33s.
