I agree that the pictured cabinet is NOT a 28ASR cabinet. I have a very nice
28ASR (with auto CR LF and 3 speed gear shift) and the cabinet I see pictured
looks different, like it was made for a Model 19 & reperf. Maybe it is a
cabinet made for Western Union.

I have one of thease in very good condition that I at present have run three
rolls of paper through it coppying tty over the internet. It is just a Model
19 set up in a mailbox type cabinet and is much nicer than the usual model
19 setup on a table.

Dear Friends,

Yesterday...I went to pick up the Model 15 in "working order". When I got
to the place, the condition of the machine was quite different than I had
imagined. It was a pile of pieces that appears to have been stored in a
barn for quite some time. I am very un-knowledgeable about these machines
but need to ask you guys a key question? Is there any reason I shouldn't
consider this a pile of parts? Since I'm new to this, I'm looking for
something a little more "ready to go". The big cabinet is in decent shape
but everything else is quite dirty. What are your opinions?
