This weekend I took my family to the intrepid on the west side of manhattan. I was very excited when I found the comm room with a desktop model 28ksr, an asr and some others, one I think was a "skintight"  Also had some very neat radio gear (not to mention TONS of radar gear). Even saw an R-390A ! and several CV-89's (I think) one was in a diversity set up. You can't imagine the look on my face when I showed my wife that "yes, believe it or not, that *junk* in my room is of historical significance!" I almost saw what I would interpret as a faint sign of acknowledgement! Ahhh, vindication!
