Les,

I have oiled and tested the M-28 T/D here (25 miles south of your
place). Tonight I'm trying to hatch a little interface that lets the T/D
switch some low voltage for the RS-232 input to the computer. (I just
decided that pin 2 on the Com-1 Port should get the signal.)

This T/D is geared for 60 WPM. It hums along very nicely and will do a
fine job of handling your tape.

Give me a call tomorrow (after about 9AM) and we can discuss this more. I
may soon have the little computer here running with rttyART program,
recording "Princess Leia, from K7YNC."
