Hey Jack;
I realize that this is not a problem, now that there are computers
that will let you adjust the AFSK for any tones you like, but
back in the olden days, when the tones for 170Hz shift were
2125 and 2295 Hz, you had some difficulty getting them thru
the audio section of the transmitter, not to mention the
receiver.
On the SB-102, if you take the LSB crystal, and plug (solder)
it into the USB crystal's socket, you'll be dead center of
the audio passband for those tones.
Irv Hoff taught me that trick.
