I don't think that your browser has anything to do with the connection but I would recommend FireFox
1.0 free at   http://www.mozilla.org/  It's very Netscape like and will pick up all you netscape
settings and bookmarks when it installs.

Make sure that you have entered all the numbers in the WMP.
