Pretty cool so far George.  On a good day I see a 28.8Kit/Sec connection 
here, so out here in the stix your 24KBPS feed plays for a minute or so 
then underflows.

Winamp's output goes fine into a Dovetron, but a philistine would just 
jumper LINE OUT to LINE IN, and feed Winamp's output into MMTTY...

You say that your encoder will do 24KBPS but not 16KBPS?  What is your 
encoder setup like there?  Are you just running from the MIC input 
direct into shoutcast?  Or do you continuously loop through a .MP3 file?
