  If a number of *commited* Greenkeyers would like to 'go in' on this 
auction, I don't mind being the 'bidder' - likewise I don't mind kicking 
in my 'share' in order to preserve these rare machines - I don't actually 
want any of this stuff myself, and hopefully we could arrange a pick up 
from the seller...

   Hell, if ten of us collaborated, and it came to a thousand dollars, 
that's only be $100 each - then the machines could go to the Museum and 
the rest could be parcelled out wherever...

   I just don't want the bidding to get going and find out that suddenly 
I'm all alone, financially -
