Hi Folks,

Can someone tell me what a 178859 unit is?  It appears to by the power 
supply on an electric service unit.  However, underneath is a printed 
circuit board with 4 wires going into the ESU terminal strips.

It appears to be an electronic keyer that replictes the polar relay.  Maybe 
2 wires go to the signal line and two to the magnets.

The filter cap is "tired" and so it needs to be replaced before I can test 
my theory.
