To those of you who got a copy of this from me, I had been worried that
overprinting, so important in many Art tapes, would not work.

A test proved it did, provided the basic type of file was not changed.

However  it was possible to open such a file in Notepad, Wordpad etc, edit
the contents (i.e. repair a damaged tape), and the alterations would be
transmitted complete with overprints.

Of course to get the full benefit of overprinting you need to connect your
computer to a teleprinter. Something like overtyping is too hard for most
computers to achieve.....
