At one time I was going to install a    Collins ARC-97 (618T)       but too 
many problems generating 400 Hz AC and 28 volts DC on a small four 
cylinder engine. The ROTANIN is my 20 foot Bayliner Explorer "Day 
Cruiser" with Volvo-Penta I/O.

We had two of those 618T's on our C-130B's. If all else failed you probably cud have used one as a boat anchor on that cruiser of yours. We went to ARC190 system later and on our C-130H's  Still as heavy as 618T's I believe. I was initially Comm/Nav, cross training to RADAR/Nav then in later years an  integrated systems electronics mechanic on 130's until my retirement.  73 CUL Paul WD8OJL
