Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web, not the Internet.  The Internet was
started as ARPANET in the 70's.

No - the Internet was invented by Tim Berners-Lee, a British guy working at
CERN in Geneva.  He wrote the original specification and code for http in
1990 (all of 14 years ago!).  He now runs the W3C consortium from MIT, which
is responsible for developing the core specifications and international
standards for web languages.  He hasn't made a penny out of this momentous
invention, because he believes it is wrong to personally profit from the
codes that run the web - he draws a salary.

I have no idea whether or not he listens to music, and what sort of
equipment he listens to it through.
