Hi

Here's how you determine the value of your wing nuts:

1) Check the deductible on your homeowners policy.
2) Collect a pile consisting of your wing nuts, a roll of solder and  
scrap wood

Now put the wing nuts up on eBay. Preferably have at least three  
auctions. Make sure they all come in over the deductible on your  
policy.

Now it's time for that fire in the work shop ...
