Thanks for the info on the Green Book. I have the '38 edition at my elbow 
and a couple of other editions at home.  In trying to dope out a loop 
switching arrangement, I found the '38 edition most helpful (Fig. 173, 
Typical Terminating Telegraph Circuit .... )

The Long Lines Training Course  #2 is likely unavailable to most of us.. 
any chance of scanning that to post on a web site?  (Or is it available 
already?)
