I am hot on the trail of the two books: RTTY Hand book 1962 and RTTY A-Z 1970. I think the gears are meshed properly, but now I will look closer. The polar relay has been removed from this machine along with the switch in the front, and the loop has been reclosed at the back of the machine. Those thyratrons sound cool even though I bet they get hot, "glow bright blue with each keypress." Thanks for the details on the loop supply. I have underlined and made notes on your entire email. Jack is sending me a Solid-State Mainline ST-5 RTTY Demodulator which he says also acts as a transmit keyer. I guess this will work for my first T.U. Mike is sending me printed material on these machines. When I get the books, what everyone is telling me will really make sense. The group is providing a Mini-Web-College of real life experience on the subject.

Best Regards,

Jan Bogue
