Got that backwards, maybe -- the red plug is probably receive (typing 
unit), and the green one is likely transmit (keyboard/td).  Apparently 
there is equipment that has the opposite standard, but red-for-receive is 
what seems to be in vogue.  You need to trace it out anyway.

Anyway, if it was my machine, I would still isolate the wiring and bring 
out three cables with 1/4" plugs:

Red:  Typing unit selector magnet(s)
Green or Black:  Keyboard
Some third color:  TD

Or, you can wire the keyboard and TD in series, and just bring out one 
transmit cable.

You can use standard 18-gauge lamp cord for these cables.  Don't hack a 
shielded audio cable, since it may not like the high voltage.
