Hi

I wonder if that's 4 H per magnet or 2 H each and 4 H when connected in
series?

The value isn't to terribly surprising. 4 H and a 2500 ohm resistor
would give a 1.5 ms time constant. That's plenty fast enough for a
machine with 22 ms pulses running around in it. May not be quite fast
enough for low distortion at 100 wpm though. If it was 4 H in series
and 1 H in parallel it would be just fine for 100 wpm.

I'll do a little poking around and let you know what I find.

	Thanks!
