[GreenKeys] Magnet Spice Model

Hi,

So here's the next question. What's the inductance of the selector
magnets on a model 28? I seem to remember some fairly vague "a couple
hundred mili henries" descriptions but nothing more accurate. I'm not
sure if that even applies to a model 28 at all.

I'm still playing with magnet driver circuits. The inductance of the
magnets along with their Q has a pretty big influence on how a given
circuit will (or won't) work. It looks like if you know the inductance
the voltage spike on turn off will give you a pretty good idea of the Q
(weird but true ...). A couple of neon bulbs across the magnets will
light up on turn off. Pretty quick way to get an estimate of the
voltage.

The final question is weather two dollars is to much for a keyer
circuit .... maybe needs to be under a buck ...

	Take Care!
